After a year of successful closed beta testing, SEGA has set the global launch date of their profusely revamped Phantasy Star Online 2 game titled PSO2 New Genesis, to June 9th on Windows PC and Xbox One.

Phantasy Star Online 2 – New Genesis is the latest addition to the Phantasy Star Online franchise, releasing as a standalone free-to-play MMORPG on PC and Xbox One (cross-platform), during Phantasy Star Online’s commemorative 20 year anniversary, with a completely upgraded game system and graphics engine from and set 1,000 years after the events of the original and still running PSO2.
