Free-to-play sandbox MMORPG Albion Online will be fully cross platform between Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android when the game launches on mobile devices June 9, 2021, Sandbox Interactive, the studio behind the game today announced.

Fully cross-platform and crossplay

Albion Online being a relatively grindy game, like the majority of MMORPGs, many players will find it very handy to play on their mobile devices when it officially releases worldwide on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store on June 9, 2021, hereby delivering the studio’s long-standing promise to make the game fully cross-platform. As such, instead of being a simplified version of the PC version, Albion’s mobile port offers the complete game experience on the same single global server as the desktop version. It is fully crossplay in that character actions and progression are persistent no matter which platform is used with the same account, giving players the option to switch between platforms at any time.
