Overwatch 2 will be free to play when it launches on October 4 on Windows PC and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Switch consoles. On top of being F2P and expanding its console offering, Overwatch 2 will boast a new competitive multiplayer experience, as well as new heroes, reworks, maps, and more.

Reveal Event on June 16

Overwatch 2 will host a special Reveal event on June 16 at 10:00 a.m. PDT on YouTube and Twitch. This special announcement will include more details on the live service model and seasonal content plan, Overwatch’s 34th hero, Junker Queen, the upcoming phase of the game’s closed beta testing and more on June 16 at 10:00 a.m. PDT on the following channels:
