Free-to-play Model

EverQuest II currently offers a fair free-to-play model which allows you to enjoy most of the game for free at a reasonable rate, compared to paid members. It is not a pay-to-win model, as you are allowed to play a full game’s content for free.
Paid membership and expansions are available, providing more content and advantages. As a free player, and as opposed to a paid member, you won’t have access to all 1000’s of Alternate Advancement Abilities nor to the 6 additional character slots. You won’t have access to all spell ranks or Mercenary Tiers. Housing and guilds are limited.
