RAM Pressure is a free to play, story-driven multiplayer online strategy game for PC (Windows), available as a desktop client from the official website or Steam. The game combines the turn-based combat of X-COM with a great sci-fi setting. At this early stage, RAM Pressure has a small single player campaign and a PVP battle mode for people to play and try out the core gameplay elements of the game, and to help with the polishing and development of further content. RAM Pressure is being massively downvoted due to the inclusion of possibly pay 2 win microtransactions in the free to play system. However the developer has confirmed that “The only thing that can be purchased for real money in the game is the usual game currency, which is first of all easily obtained in missions and, especially, in PvP. Secondly, this game currency can’t buy a game advantage in PvP. To get the top equipment, you still need to complete missions and leveling up“.
