Stay Out – is a free-to-play* open world PVP MMORPG for PC (Windows) in early access, combining shooting and survival elements. The game is based on the post-apocalyptic spirit of S.T.A.L.K.E.R – an urban exploration which involves searching and exploring mysterious pieces of our planet, which have been abandoned and forgotten by humanity. Stay Out is currently is early access and has received mixed reviews due mostly to performance issues, which may be resolved in subsequent updates, as well as its lengthy tutorial and 3rd person-only view. Most bad reviews seem to arise from a misconception of the game’s nature. Stay Out is partly a shooter, partly a survival game, and mostly an Early Access MMORPG which aims to make quests more difficult to find and complete than typical MMORPGs.

Free-to-Play Model
*Stay Out is fully free to play in that all game content (e.g. modes, maps, quests, progress) is free, but it is only slightly F2P-friendly. It tends to be P2W (pay to win) with various options to buy items (instead of grinding for them), such as better weapons and gear, to progress faster and compete with other players. The game being relatively PVP-intensive, F2P beginners tend to have a hard time progressing compared to P2W players or F2P veterans. The game being also grind-intensive, F2P players will have to spend a lot of time grinding to get better weapons and gear. Many players find it too grindy and P2W while many others find it quite enjoyable nonetheless.
