The Epic Store has partnered with Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick to give anyone a free copy of Thimbleweed Park (PC & Mac) between Feb. 21 and March 07, as part of the store’s bi-weekly giveaway event. The game can be downloaded directly via Epic’s game launcher.
The Thimbleweed Park Giveaway
The game, a very nice gift otherwise sold $20, can be downloaded for Windows and Mac PCs directly from the new Epic store at epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/thimbleweed-park/home, starting February 21, 2019 until March 07! Those who own potato PCs need not worry as the game will run flawlessly on any low-end PC. No need to delete other games to free up disk space neither as the pixel-art game requires less 1 GB.
About Thimbleweed Park (2017)
Thimbleweed Park is a fine point-and-click adventure game developed by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick for Microsoft Windows, macOS, iOS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Linux, Android, and Nintendo Switch. The game is a spiritual successor to Gilbert and Winnick’s previous games Maniac Mansion (1987) and The Secret of Monkey Island (1990), and is designed to be similar to point-and-click adventure games released back then, both visually and gameplay-wise.
About Epic Store
Epic’s new game store was recently created to offer an alternative to market leader, Steam, essentially by providing a larger cut of sale revenues to game developers and publishers, and by promising to make cross-platform play a lot easier to implement.
