About the Chongqing Major
The Chongqing Major, which counts heavily for Dota 2’s pro circuit and the International 2019, is organized by StarLadder and ImbaTV, and hosted in Chongqing, China, from 19 to 27 January 2019. Out of the 16 teams that will compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool, 15 earned their ticket through regional qualifiers: three teams each from Europe, China, and North America and two teams each from CIS, Southeast Asia, and South America. The 16th team qualified as the winner of the most recent pro tournament, the Bucharest Minor.
